Investigation Division

The Detectives Division is currently comprised of three highly trained and skilled investigators, Detectives Stefan Hausinger, Gary Manning and Tim McNall.

They investigate felonies, crimes against women and children, and significant misdemeanors occurring in Camas. The unit is also responsible for drug enforcement in the city and appreciates any information that you may have in reference to illicit activity. They will also monitor the local registered sex offenders.

Strict confidentiality is always our standard in these cases.

Code Enforcement

Code Enforcement is under the jurisdiction of the Camas Police Department.

Animal Control

The cities of Camas and Washougal know that your dog is a valued member of your household. As such, the Camas-Washougal Animal Control Division was formed to help safeguard your pet. The Animal Control Division works within the Camas and Washougal communities to address neglected, abused, loose and vicious dogs, barking dogs complaints, dog bites, and lost and found dogs.

Fire Permits

The Camas-Washougal Fire Department administers fire and life safety regulations for all properties within the Camas and Washougal city limits. Permits must be obtained from the Fire Marshal's Office (FMO) for construction-related permits including but not limited to new construction, alteration, demolition, new occupancies, changes of occupancies, and installation of fire alarm and/or fire suppression systems.
