Garbage Services

The City of Camas provides scheduled curbside refuse collection services for residential households, public schools, public buildings and business in Camas. Residential curbside sites are collected either once a week, or every other week pick up, depending on individual need. Commercial pick up is available five times a week Monday-Friday. Please note that all Recycling and Yard Debris collection within the City of Camas is collected and managed by Waste Connections of Washington, Inc. Billing for garbage and recycling is completed and collected by the City of Camas, while Yard Debris billing and collection is completed by Waste Connections.

Collection and Holiday Schedule

For information on when to place your garbage and recyclables out for every other week collection, go to the Garbage Collection Calendar. If your collection day falls on a holiday, please place the roller cart at the curb on the following business day. Please make sure to put your can out by 6:30 a.m. on your scheduled pick up day, otherwise a return pick-up fee may be assessed.

During snow operations, residents may experience disruption in collection service. The City strives to provide as much notice as possible regarding disruptions in service; however, sometimes advance notice is difficult. Staff is happy to work with customers on any questions or concerns when disruption does occur.
