You can apply for a library card online or in person at the Library.

Apply for a library card online HERE.

Applicants under the age of 12 must have their parent/guardian/responsible adult fill out the application in order to receive a card.

Live Outside of Camas?

Camas Public Library is a part of the Metropolitan Interlibrary Exchange (MIX), a cooperative agreement between several regional library systems. If you live in any of the following library service areas, you're eligible to apply for a reciprocal Camas Public Library card:

  • Clackamas County Libraries
  • Fort Vancouver Regional Libraries
  • Hood River County Library District
  • Multnomah County Library
  • Washington County Cooperative Library Services

Please note: Each library within the MIX group requires a separate library card. Having a Camas card doesn’t automatically give you access to the others, and vice versa.

Using Your Library Card

Your Camas Public Library card may be used only at the Camas Public Library.

Use your card to access eBooks and eAudiobooks at the Washington Anytime Digital Library or through the Libby app.

150 items may be checked out on a Library card at any one time.

Most items can be checked out for three weeks.

Most items will automatically renew on their due date if no one has placed a hold on the item. Books will automatically renew up to 16 times.

If you owe more than $25 your Library card will be blocked until items are returned, replaced, or paid for.
