Our MISSION…
Camas Parks and Recreation promotes a healthy and sustainable community by listening and responding to the community’s needs and desires, protecting and preserving its natural spaces to improve ecological health, and developing and maintaining parks, trails and recreation programs that are welcoming for all.
The Camas Seniors offer a variety of programs year-round. Please contact LaRhea Steele at 360.904.4274 for details on upcoming casino tours and cultural excursions.
In an effort to provide information regarding the various services offered to our community’s seniors, the Camas Parks & Recreation Department has compiled a list of senior resources.
Trails are an important recreation asset to Camas. Many of our citizens participate in trail-related activities including hiking, nature walks, in-line skating, and off-road Bicycling. The trails in Camas provide a good start for outdoor walking and bicycling experiences.
Trails are open to bicycles unless otherwise posted. Some restrictions are in place in Lacamas Park. Bicyclists should be aware of other users and use common courtesy on the trail.
