Development Engineering

Welcome to the City of Camas Development Engineering Division

Development Engineering is part of the Community Development Department. This division of Engineering is involved in all aspects of new development projects, both public and private. This includes preparation for pre-application meetings; preparation of staff reports for application submittals; review and approval of engineering construction plans; and the construction inspection of the various engineering components required for a new development; including water, sanitary sewer, storm sewer, roads, sidewalks, etc.

Development Engineering staff is committed to providing quality customer service by effectively facilitating the development process while protecting the health, safety, and public welfare of the community.
