Fallen Leaf Lake Park Shelter

Rules and Regulations for Shelter Rentals

  • Private events only.
  • Dogs are allowed on leashes.
  • No amplified music. If you have portable music players, please make sure the noise is only audible within the boundaries of the area.
  • A large open grass area is available. 
  • Inflatable bounce houses are not allowed on the property. 
  • Please leave the area clean for the next party and deposit your garbage into the dumpster. Failure to do so will result in the loss of your cleaning deposit.

Available dates to Reserve Fallen Leaf Lake Shelter

Daily reservations can be made for events occurring between Memorial Day weekend and September 30th. The rental reservation hours are from 10 am to dusk.

Fallen Leaf Lake Park Shelter

Fallen Leaf Lake Park Shelter is located at 2911 NE Everett Street in Camas and is part of the 119-acre Fallen Leaf Lake Park system. Fallen Leaf Lake is a scenic 15-acre lake surrounded by mature deciduous and evergreen trees. The forested areas in the park and surrounding green-ways provide lots of habitat for a diverse set of birds and wildlife.

Main Hall

This room opens up to a beautiful deck overlooking Lacamas Lake and has vaulted ceilings, a stone-lined fireplace and tall, north-facing windows. The warming kitchen is included with the rental and is attached to this room.

Scout Hall

Scout Hall in Crown Park - NE 15th Avenue and Everett Street

This Facility is currently closed during the Crown Park Renovation Project

 

This facility is available to non-profit organizations only. This was the first school in Camas and was built prior to 1882. It was replaced by a four room school (with inside plumbing) in 1886. The first school remained on the school grounds until 1907.

This facility rental is a great venue for weddings, birthday parties, anniversary parties, family reunions, company celebrations, meetings and many other events. This facility is equipped with tables and chairs.

The City of Camas offers a variety of facility rentals for your next event. You can choose from Lacamas Lake Lodge Conference Center, Fallen Leaf Lake Park Shelter and the Camas Community Center. Scout Hall is available to non-profit groups only. Parks Volunteers

The City of Camas uses volunteers for a variety of activities, programs, tasks and projects.  We need your skills, experience, interest and time.  A variety of opportunities are open to you, whether it's reading to youth, working in the office, mingling with seniors, helping at special events, or improving parks and open spaces.

Parks and Recreation Vision Statement

The Parks and Recreation Commission established and updated Parks and Recreation vision and mission statements, as well as the goals for the updated 2022 PROS Plan. Both were informed by community input. This vision and mission statements, along with the PROS Plan goals, will guide the work of the Parks and Recreation department in the coming years.
