Martin Elzingre Chosen to Fill Vacant Ward 2 Camas Council Seat

Martin Elzingre will be the new Camas Ward 2 Council member. Elzingre was appointed by Council at a Special Meeting, April 8. Elzingre will fill the Ward 2 seat vacated in February by Bonnie Carter. Elzingre received a unanimous vote from all Council Members to confirm the appointment.
Elzingre will take his official oath of office at the Council’s April 21, Regular Council meeting, which will be administered by Camas City Attorney Shawn MacPherson. Elzingre will represent Camas Ward 2, position 1, with his term expiring November 25, 2025.

Martin Elzingre is a 10-year Camas resident, husband and father of three. He currently works in the Semiconductor equipment industry as a vice president and general manager for North American operations. Martin has served on multiple advisory boards and HOA Boards, and also volunteered in activities for blind athletes. Martin enjoys many of the outdoor activities in the area including hiking, biking and boating.
