Leslie Lewallen was sworn into office on November 23, 2021, to the position of Ward 3, Position 2. Leslie was elected to serve her first full-term on City Council for the term ending December 31, 2025.
Leslie is a fifth generation Washingtonian with a family history of public service. She graduated from the University of Washington with a bachelor's degree in Political Science, and Seattle University School of Law with a Juris Doctorate. She practiced as a judicial clerk for Chief Justice Gerry Alexander at the Washington State Supreme Court and worked as a Deputy King County Prosecutor prior to joining private practice that focused on land use, property rights, and environmental law.
Leslie and her husband, Brian, have four children and have been part of the Camas community since 2018.
