This week's Kid Librarian is Claire (7)! Claire is a big fan of illustrator Ed Emberley and shared the covers of a few of her favorite Emberley coloring books with us. She also wrote a fabulous review of the "100 Dresses" series by Susan Maupin Schmid. We made extra copies so come pick up her review during your next visit!

Meet the Camas Public Library's very first Kid Librarians! Leilani (8), Kai (6), James (4), and Lila (2) created some incredible artwork depicting scenes from their favorite books. Their display will be up in the Children's Room all this week. Swing by the Library and take a peek!
In November 2021, the Camas Public Library hosted its very first Kid Librarian program to highlight our younger patrons and their reading interests. The program was so popular we have continued with all new Kid Librarians every year since. Each kid/family created a display in our Storytime Room with decorations, original artwork, and their favorite books.
