Martin Elzingre was sworn into office on April 21, 2025, to the position of Ward 2, Position 1. Martin was appointed to serve on City Council by a unanimous vote for the term ending November 25, 2025.

Friends of the Community Center

Meet the first Wednesday of each month at 10:30 a.m. at the Camas Community Center, 1718 SE 7th Avenue, Camas, WA. The President is Nan Henriksen. The staff representative is Susan Newlove. Typically this group does not meet during the summer months. For more information contact Susan Newlove at 360.834.5307.

Citizen Participation

The City of Camas welcomes the participation of its citizens in the public meeting process. Anyone interested may be heard at meetings. In addition, the Clerk’s office will receive written comments at any time between notice distribution and the completion of the meeting.

Garbage Service Information

Roll out cans, 35 and 65 gallon, are available for our customers. Larger containers are available in sizes 300 gallons (1.5 yards) and 450 gallons (2.0 yards) for residential and commercial for temporary use in clean-up that goes beyond homeowner‘s and business’ regular garbage pick-up.
