City of Camas Seeks Committee Members for 4% Utility Tax to Support Camas PD

Officials with the City of Camas announced that the City’s 4% utility tax vote to support the Camas Police Department will be on the February 11, 2025, Special Election ballot.  As such, the City is looking for interested individuals to serve on one of two committees, those in favor of the 4% Utility Tax increase, and those who are against the increase.

Committee members will draft arguments both in favor of, and against, the Utility Tax for the online Voter’s Pamphlet.

Please note, the 4% will  only be attributed to the provision of Police Department Services and will not be used to support other departments or initiatives.
