In 2022, after being closed for 2 years due to Covid, Library staff was given the opportunity to revive the Second Story Gallery.

Please enjoy exploring exhibits from the past few years as we continue to curate and bring new shows to our space.

 

Teen Library Council

What is the Teen Library Council? Our Teen Library Council (TLC) provides teens ages 14-17 with the opportunity to make a positive difference in our community and have input in the way the Library serves teens.

Reading Dragons Kick-off Party

Join us for a party to kick-off the start of Reading Dragons! Pick up your September-December 2024 tracker, go on a Crystal Quest and earn your first Reading Dragons card of the season, take a photo with a Reading Dragons creature, and more!

This event will take place in the Children's Library. Participants will also have the opportunity to win a trading card binder to hold all of their Reading Dragons cards for the year!

No registration required.

General Inquiries

You can submit images of your artwork to be considered for a future group or solo show, proposing an exhibition or curatorial project. Please include an artist bio and/or statement, as well as the media, price, and dimensions of each work.

Meet the Staff- Amy

Amy moved to Camas in 2018 to carry on adventuring after five wonderful years in Heidelberg, Germany, and before that the UK.  As a former hydrogeologist, she has found her home amongst the lakes and mountains of the Pacific Northwest.  When she’s not curled up under a blanket, getting lost in a good book, she enjoys cycling, hiking, and watching movies at Liberty Theatre.  Some of her favorite things include slices of cold watermelon on a hot day, the sound of the ocean, walking in old-growth forest, and sleeping under the stars.  One day she will climb Mount St.

Intramural Library Sports

This drop-in program invites kids in Grades 1-5 to compete in a variety of fun library-themed "sports" and activities designed to test their library capabilities! Some of our sporting events include, but are not limited to:

Call for Bids - SR500 12in Waterline Relocation

Sealed bids will be received by the City of Camas, Administrative Services, 616 NE 4th Avenue, Camas, Washington, until 10:00am, on Thursday, July 25, 2024. Bids will then be opened and publicly read in the City Hall Council Chambers.
