Welcome to the City Administrator's Office
The role of the City Administrator's Office is to work with the Mayor, City Council, and city department directors to ensure effective implementation of City policies. The City Administrator, in conjunction with the Mayor, oversees all day-to-day operations, executes policy direction established by City Council, and manages operations to ensure that City services meet the needs of Camas residents.
The City Administrator partners with Human Resources in the oversight of all personnel, assists the Mayor in supervision of the City's annual budget performance, and is the primary point of contact for administration-level interactions with the business community and partnering community agencies.

Meet Camas City Administrator Doug Quinn
Doug Quinn began his role as the Camas City Administrator in January of 2023. Before serving in this position, Doug spent 20 years with Clark Public Utilities, serving as the Director of Water Services. A licensed professional engineer in Washington and Oregon, Doug served as Camas Public Works Director and City Engineer from 1990 to 2003, Planning Director and Assistant City Engineer from 1988 to 1990 and served as Interim City Administrator from 1998 to 1999.
In addition to numerous community service positions, Doug served on the Camas School Board from 2005 -2023, and as Board President for two different terms. Doug also worked as a Board member with the Downtown Camas Association for 18 years.
Doug, his wife Christy and their family, have called Camas home since 1988. Active in the community, Doug can often be found emceeing events, serving as an auctioneer for various charities, or serving as the “Voice of Camas Days,” Camas’ yearly celebration of the City.
