LEOFF Disability Board
Purpose
Law Enforcement Officers and Firefighters (LEOFF) Disability Board adopts rules and regulations related to mandated benefits provided to law enforcement officers and firefighters hired under LEOFF I provisions.
Membership
Five members consisting of two elected officials appointed by the Mayor; one active or retired LEOFF I law enforcement officer and firefighter; and one member of the public, who is appointed by the other four members of the meeting body.
Terms & Residency Requirements
Two-year terms. The active or retired LEOFF I members had to have retired from employment with the City. The member of the public must reside within the City.
