We take pride in preserving a healthful environment while promoting economic growth. We encourage citizens to participate in government and community, assisting the City in its efforts to provide quality services consistent with their desires and needs.

The following are the Boards and Commissions for the City of Camas as of January 1, 2021.

Neighborhoods

Our Community

There are so many great amenities which make living in Camas, Washington the place to Live, Work, Learn & Play!

Road Preservation

The City maintains and updates a Pavement Preservation Plan that includes all streets within the City of Camas. The City uses several different methods to preserve roads and to protect the public’s investment in its transportation infrastructure.

This road work does disrupt drivers, and in some cases, requires roads to be temporarily closed.

When a street is closed for a surface treatment, construction workers will allow police cars, fire engines and ambulances responding to emergencies to drive through the work zone.

xxxFire & Life Safety Inspections

Why does the Fire Department conduct fire and life safety inspections?

Regular fire and life safety inspections are a critical part of fire prevention. Inspectors enforce the International Fire Code during these inspections, working to detect fire hazards and minimize the risk of life and property loss from fire. These inspections also help to promote safe practices by creating an awareness of fire and its potential for occurrence.
