Say hello to this week's Kid Librarian - Faith! Faith put together a wide array of books for her display. We've got a bit of everything for all types of readers. Amelia Bedelia? Check! Next in our Kid Librarian lineup is Clara! Clara's display is all about space exploration, coding, and robotics. In addition to STEAM-focused books, Clara is also reading "The Owl Diaries by Rebecca Elliot and Diary of an 8-bit Warrior by Cube Kid.
We are back for another winter of wonderful Kid Librarians! Our first Kid Librarian of the season is Samyukta who included a few pieces of her award-winning art in her display. She also added some beautiful Deepavali decorations to brighten up the room. What a lovely start to our Kid Librarian program!
Chris and her family moved to Camas in 2021 and fell in love with our beautiful city immediately. Having lived in Ohio, New Jersey, and Tennessee, the Pacific Northwest is new territory for Chris, but she feels quite at home here already. Originally trained as a librarian, Chris instead worked as a webmaster for many years. Eventually she left that work to support her growing family and pursue creative interests. Chris took up pottery after leaving the tech field and still loves making things in clay. She always hoped to return to library work one day so being a libra
