The following information is a summary of the questions asked and information provided at the Camas City Council Ward 1,2 and 3 Town Hall meetings held between Feb 7, 2023 and April 27, 2023. Again, this is just a summary and does not serve as a verbatim account of what occurred at each meeting.
The following Cultural Heritage educational signs were created in coordination with the Lower Columbia Fish Enhancement Group. The signs will will be placed along the Washougal River Green way as part of the trail restoration project.
Following a nationwide search, the City of Camas announced that Tina M. Jones will be the next Chief of the Camas Police Department.
Jones will assume the position effective July 3, 2023. However, Council will have a vote to confirm the appointment at the June 5 City Council meeting.
Jen’s daughter, Zoe, is thrilled with her mom’s job as a Library Aide and pouts when she comes home from a shift without books. The Camas-area has been home to Jen and her family (which also includes husband, Marc, and son, Max) for a decade, where she’s enjoyed exploring the area, spending time with family, inflicting obnoxious inflatable holiday displays on her neighbors, and volunteering with the Camas School District and Woodburn PAWS.
