Staff Favorites From 2020
December 30, 2020 - 2020 has come to an end! It’s that time of year when numerous ‘Best Of’ lists pop up around the internet. Well, the staff at The Camas Public Library thought we would share some of our favorite books that we read in 2020. These are books the staff enjoyed reading in 2020, but may not have been published in 2020.
After talking with staff and friends, I’ve heard that for some 2020 was a difficult time for reading and for others is was even more important as a refuge during the Covid pandemic. For myself, I was hoping to read more books than I did. However I take comfort in the Mortimer J. Adler quote, “In the case of good books, the point is not to see how many of them you can get through, but rather how many can get through to you.” Luckily, some did get through in 2020!
Okay, so here are some of the staff’s favorite reads from 2020...Drum Roll Please!
