Little Dragons
Little Dragons will begin on Friday, September 1, 2023!
How to play:
- Mark 1 square on the tracker for each day your child reads or is read to.
- Once your child has completed 16 days of reading, you can bring their tracker to the Library and receive a stamp!
- When they’ve received 4 stamps, they can pick out a special Reading Dragons sticker!
- Once they’ve received 10 stamps, bring their tracker to the Library and exchange it for a free book.
Little Dragons is a school-year reading program for infants and preschoolers (birth-4 years old).
By reading with your little dragon, you are teaching them about the sounds and letters that make up our language. You are also creating positive interactions with books, which is an important part of building strong reading skills!
When you and your child have fun while reading together, you are working on their communication, language, and thinking skills!
