Reading Dragons & Friends

Reading Dragons & Friends is a school-year program for school-age kids (kindergarten to grade 12). You earn Reading Dragon cards just for reading! Program runs from September 2023-April 2024.

How to participate

1. Pick up a tracker or print one from home.
2. Mark 1 square on the tracker for each day you read.
3. Once you've completed 4 days of reading (a full row), bring your tracker to the Library and pick our your cards!
4. For each row you complete, you will get a set of 4 matching cards: an egg, a baby, a teen, and an adult.

Coloring Contest

Wednesday, May 1 - Saturday, May 18

We want your help to design a new Reading Dragons card! Color the dragon, griffin, or unicorn, give it a name, and return the sheet to the Service Desk. The winning design will be made into a Reading Dragons card (available Fall 2024).

Rules:

• Contest is open to all ages.

• Only 1 submission per person.

• Coloring sheet must be submitted by the due date.

• Your information must be listed on the front of this sheet.

• Artwork must be your original creation.
