September 2025 - Harvest and Abundance
Exhibition Theme:
We invite artists to explore the themes of abundance, gratitude, and the bounty of harvest for our September show. We encourage submissions that reflect diverse interpretations of harvest and abundance. This can include, but is not limited to:
- Visual art (painting, photography, sculpture, mixed media)
- Textile arts and crafts
- Poetry and written works
Eligibility:
Open to artists of 16 and over from all backgrounds. We welcome both emerging and established artists. Each artist may submit up to 3 pieces of artwork for consideration.
Subject Matter:
This is a public space visited by people of many cultures, nationalities, and ages. We reserve the right to not exhibit work that we deem unsuitable for the public space.
Submission Guidelines:
- Deadline: Submissions must be received by July 18.
- How to Submit:
- This is a juried show.
- Please send up to 3 photo(s) of your work to secondstorygallery@cityofcamas.us.
- Label each photo with the title and dimensions.
- In the body of the email, include your name, 1-2 sentences of how your art reflects the theme, the price or NFS, and the media used.
Important Dates:
- Exhibit dates: September 5-27
- Entry deadline: July 11
- Notification date: July 25
- Drop-off dates: August 18-29
- First Friday Artist Reception: September 5, 5-8 p.m.
- Artist Talk: September 10, 6-7:30 p.m.
