Meet the Staff- Kary Wilson

Kary is originally from Iowa and lived in North Carolina and Missouri before deciding to move to the PNW with her husband and three children to be closer to family. When trying to find a house, they looked at a lot of different areas around the Vancouver area, but nothing felt right. On a whim, they decided to look at Camas and fell in love with the town and all it had to offer.

Kary has a BFA in Art Education, K-12, from UNC-Greensboro and has worked with all grade levels, though her favorite is Middle School.

SOME OTHER INTERESTING TIDBITS:

  • First job—She worked behind the soda fountain at her dad’s drugstore
  • Favorite holiday—Christmas!
  • Favorite book—Too many to pick! And working at the Library hasn’t helped her growing TBR pile.
  • Pastimes—Reading, kayaking, spending time with family and friends, and doing projects around the house (though she says she has a bad habit of only doing 99% of a project before moving on to something else!).
