Meet the Staff- John Goaring

John has been with the Library since 2003, and has worked as a Page, Library Assistant and is currently the Circulation Services Specialist. He came to the beautiful state of Washington from the most humid place on the planet, St. Louis, Missouri.

He is a graduate of Eastern Illinois University in Charleston. Go Big Blue! Worked in St. Louis as a bartender/bouncer and spent many years as a Library Assistant with the Missouri Historical Society and Research Center.

His favorite authors are Clive Custer, C.J. Box, Timothy Zahn, Winston Groom and most anything non-fiction. His hobbies are raising his 4 boys, running (when not falling down mountains!), genealogy, movies, his ever expanding vinyl record collection and making the best Christmas fudge on the planet.
