Meet the Staff- Carnita Dominguez
When Carnita isn’t chasing after her 4 year old son and two fur babies she’s reading and sharing her journey on Instagram, baking for her loved ones and spending time with family.
She loves learning new things and you can often find her collecting crafting materials, teaching herself how to use them, and creating a few pieces before moving on to her next artistic adventure. She’s taught herself how to knit, crochet, hand stitch embroidery and much more!
She’s relatively new to the area and hopes to explore more when the weather warms up a little. Stop in and say hi! She can’t wait to familiarize herself with all of our lovely patrons.
Some bookish facts about her:
- She rereads To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee every year (that’s how her cat Scout got his name)
- She’s recently discovered her love for audiobooks
- Her yearly reading goal is always 100 books but last year she read 132
- Her top three genres are Thrillers, Contemporary Romance and hard hitting YA
