- View current and past utility bills online
- Monitor water usage with an easy-to-use graphing tool
Visit the billing system and sign up. All you need is your account number to make a payment or register for an account.
Payment Options
The City offers several payment options. You may elect to mail your payment by using the payment envelopes provided in your billing statements. An outside drop box is located at the Camas Municipal Center, 616 NE Fourth Avenue for all non-cash payments, while cash payments can be made at our customer service office during normal business hours.
We accept Mastercard, Visa and Discover Card for debit and credit card transactions. These payments can be made in person during regular business hours, or online at any time. We also accept payments over the phone by calling (360)817-7117. This service is free to our customers and is available 24/7.
Due Date
Utility bills are sent in the beginning of odd-numbered months and are due on the 10th of the following even-numbered month. Bills become delinquent if not paid by the 18th of that same even-numbered month in which they are due. A late fee of 5%, a minimum $15.00, will be assessed on past due accounts.
Disconnect
We prefer not to disconnect service; however, sometimes it becomes necessary. Before service is terminated, a notice will be sent to state our intent to discontinue service for non-payment. If the service is terminated for nonpayment of a past due bill, a disconnection fee of $50.00 will be assessed.
Tampering with the water meter is a crime. Water meters are the property of the City of Camas, and only City staff are permitted to turn the curbstop on or off. Meters found to have been turned on without City knowledge will incur penalties for the violation, as well as for turning the meter back off and padlocking or removing it.
Returned Check
If a check is returned unpaid by your banking institution for any reason, a $34.00 fee will be charged to your account in addition to the reversed payment and any fees accrued as a result of the unpaid balance.
