Camas Parks & Rec Pumpkin Party Scheduled for Oct. 26!
The Camas Parks & Recreation Pumpkin Party celebrates its 36th year with all the fun carnival and fall activities you’ve come to enjoy. The event will be held Saturday, Oct. 26, from 6:30 p.m. – 9 p.m., at Liberty Middle School, 1612 N.E. Garfield St. in Camas.
The Pumpkin Party will feature carnival games, prizes, candy, fall crafts, a photo booth (bring your camera!), and a costume contest (starting at 8:15pm). Trick-or-treat bags and mini pumpkins will be given to the first 300 kids! The activities are designed for ages 12 and under, and children must be accompanied by an adult.
The event is free; however, two cans of food or non-perishable items will enter participants in the drawing of the annual Halloween-themed basket of goodies. Donations benefit the Interfaith Treasure House’s food bank.
The City of Camas would like to recognize the Pumpkin Party sponsors, including Camas Community Education, Camas School District, Portland Party Works and VFW Post 4278, whose partnership and donations help keep this event free for our community.
