On Friday, September 16th asphalt paving will occur on the north side of the intersection, weather permitting. Construction traffic will be very heavy during paving operations on Friday, and several Flaggers will be deployed in different locations to facilitate safe traffic movement, and to STOP Traffic as necessary to accommodate trucks and other construction activity. Traffic movement through the area will be very slow while paving occurs. Back-ups on NW 6th Avenue are likely.
Erection of the STAGE 4 Construction configuration will commence on the morning of Monday, September 19th, and should be completed by the end of the work day. Once STAGE 4 is installed, Traffic will be able to use the Round-About periodically as the remaining concrete and utility work is completed.
The Temporary Access to the WB ON-RAMP will remain operational during STAGE 4 due to construction work on the north side of the intersection at Norwood that will require intermittent road closures.
Final Paving is currently scheduled for October 6th, weather permitting.
The posted construction speed through the project will continue to be 25 MPH.
