The City reviews it’s Stormwater Management Program (SWMP) once a year.  The City is soliciting comments from the public at the February 21, 2017 Council Workshop. All comments will be reviewed by Staff. The updated report is posted on the City’s Public Works / Engineering / Stormwater web page.

The SWMP is written documentation, required by the Ecology’s NPDES Phase 2 Municipal Stormwater Permit, that outlines planned actions and activities for the upcoming year that addresses the components listed in Section S5 of the Permit. The basis of the plan is to improve stormwater quality through departmental coordination, public education & outreach, public involvement & participation, illicit discharge detection & elimination, controlling stormwater runoff from construction sites, municipal operations & maintenance activities, and monitoring & assessing water quality.

The report is available online at: http://www.cityofcamas.us/index.php/engmain/stormwater
